Namibia - Catamaran Tour - Part 1
I was very excited when Scott said he wanted to take the day and come with me on the Marine "big five" tour. Fortunately the project was going well and Scott could join me. The weather did not cooperate, but then again, you can't do anything about it, so just endure it and have some fun. We had a great time. A 3 year old sea lion decided to join us for a bit of breakfast. Along with a couple hundred thousand in the total colony on the Walvis Bay peninsula. You have never seen anything like it - or heard it either. I felt like I was part of a National Geographic documentary. The "marine big five" are dolphins (2 types), leatherback tortuios, mola mola (sunfish), sea lions and whales, we only saw 2 of the five, but it was a wonderful trip just the same. Great tour guide - Marco - their "snacks" consisted of Champagne, oysters, calamari, oysters rockafeller, and much much more - it was a feast. Well worth the time and money - highly recommend.
