Cherry/Scott Adventures: Grand Tetons & YellowStone National Parks

We had to make a quick run up to Wyoming for Brittany & Martin's Wedding - Scott took off 3 weeks - which you think is plenty of time - and it is, except that you have to stop and sleep.

We started with no reservations or plans - just wingin' it !!!

Love this RV!!

We love being back in Texas - see the flat landscape - and no that is not a "drink" it's sweet Texas tea !!

This was a sand storm from hell - that big bread box - was rocking and hard to keep in the lane.

Poor Scott has to get up on top of the RV to secure one of the awnings that was being beat from the wind - I had to keep the roof hatch closed from all the sand - what a mess !!!

Only 5 Liberty Bells around the country - this one is in Cheyenne, WY.

Yep, our name is Williams - the jeep is not pulling right - we can not get it into neutral - this has happened once before - so here we go again. Cheyenne, WY can't get the parts for a few days - got to get to the wedding - we have all the wedding parties clothes - so, Cherry gets to drive the jeep for the next 600 miles into Jackson Hole, WY.

Yellowstone Lake !!

Yellowstone is awesome - the whole place is steamy and flowing !!

Cutest little town - I loved the RV Park - the best place we have every stayed !!

We were so lucky to have the time with Ken and Beverly for a few days in Yellowstone. Judy stayed with us for a few days and toured the park - so grateful for the time we all shared !!!

Judy - you still have the best butt ever !!! :)

Yep, Hail again - weather changes in an hour or two in JUNE at those elevations !!!

The massive fire in 1988 - devastated the park - it is starting to recover - will take decades !!

Now if you need a place to stay in Yellowstone - I recommend this Hotel - Awesome !!

Last of Yellowstone - we sure needed more time - Taylor and Dustin got to see so much more than us. There just isn't enough places inside the park that will take a 36' rig.
