Scotland - Aberdeen to Invergordon - 2013/14 (April-Jan)

 

Just running the back roads in Scotland with my BFF !!  Spring has sprung in a big way in northern Scotland!!

 

Still a little snow left in late June.

 

Fiona's dad, Jack, told me about Steptoes - a great "junkin'" place to go - Scott and I visited many times!!!

 These dry stacked fence lines are still everywhere here - the are still mostly in great shape - amazing craftsmanship, skill and strength !!

The strange MIST that comes in from the north sea - it is stranger than strange - beautiful day and then you can't see - wild !!

 

Check out this water - so clear !!  This tiny town faces due north on the open north sea - these folks have stamina of steel!!

The Royal Mile - it is crazy full of people - of course - we stumbled in to Edinburgh on a Festival Weekend - Wow !!!

 

 

 

Scott just lost his Transocean hat with a gust of wind - the glass roofs below is the rail station - his hat landed on the tracks - :(
